I've got to check this out---I have only "played" with metal clay. So far I have a "heart in hand" item that I am fairly proud of and a few leaves I painted with layer upon layer of thin paste....even after tumbling, though, I think I needed more layers!! Ah, well, some expensive lessons! I have bronze clay I have yet to touch---still need a covered pan to use in my kiln for that!

Yes, layering is an experience. Some of my leaves were 10 layers or more. I don't have a kiln yet so I can't even think about bronze yet.
